- 3 out of 6 beavers dead (bathed by sea water)

- a headfish and a pygmy sperm whale dead (malfunctioning of water temperature control due to a damage to a sea water circulation pump)

- jellyfish all dead

breeders stood overnight for restoration. a baby african penguin born on April 2nd.

MANAGEMENT INFORMATION[編集]

SANKEI NEWS April 22nd：electricity,water supply, and other lifelines restored. The structure of the building was nearly unharmed, safety check has been done. Reopen from Saturday, April 23rd.

KAHOKU SHINPO April 29th：Oo-arai aquarium donates 10 species, total of 27 exhibits such as headfish(one), brownbanded bamboo sharks, etc, on 28th.
